At present, there are related literature and advanced fault detectors for high-impedance faults in cable lines. However, when using the professional cable fault locator for positioning the on-site, sometimes there are some special troubles that cannot be located.

For common cable faults, the use of commercially available cable fault locators typically determines the point of failure within minutes or hours. 

However, when special trouble occurs and the detection is not smooth, it may be necessary to call a plurality of cable fault detectors with different functions to repeat the test, and the rotation detection and alignment are confirmed. 

The types of these faulty instruments mainly include various cable fault detectors designed and manufactured according to the bridge method and the wave method principle, so that positioning may take several days or even longer, so when luck is good, it can be determined. 

At the point of the fault point, when the luck is not good, the position of the fault point is still undetermined.
