Meeting of the Prime Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to be held

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying today at a regular press conference that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) Council at its fourteenth meeting will be 12 held in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, from May 14 to 15.

According to reports, should the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states of the Republic of Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Masimov, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Surrey Aliyev, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan First Deputy Prime Minister Azimov Stan Republic.

As well as observer states of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of India, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Mongolia, and the government leaders of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will attend the meeting. UNESCAP, ASEAN, AsiaInfo, and other relevant international organizations and mechanisms responsible persons will also be invited to attend. 

The parties will promote SCO cooperation in various fields to exchange views. After the meeting, Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet with member governments of collective leadership.

Should the invitation of Premier Li Keqiang, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov, and Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

And Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Surrey Nazarbayev will attend the fourteenth meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) Council before and after the official visit to China. Li Keqiang and Medvedev will hold their twenty-second regular meeting with the prime minister.

Hua Chunying pointed out, as the host country, China, together with the parties expect that in the Silk Road and other regional economic cooperation initiatives to background.
