GB/T 5023 PVC insulated cable with rated voltage 450/750V and below
JB/T 8734 PVC insulated cable and wire and flexible wire with rated voltage 450/750V and below.
The cabling direction shall comply with requirements in the process documents, usually the outermost layer of the cable into the right while the adjacent layer stranded twisted in the opposite
Insulated cores identified by number should arrange as per 1# from the inner layer to the outer in clockwise order.
3.2.2.1 The core arrangement order for multi-cores cable when cabling should be as per the below rules:
Two-cores cable: Red, Blue
Three-cores cable: Yellow, Green, Red
Four-cores cable: Yellow, Green, Red, Blue
Five-cores cable: Yellow, Green, Red, Blue, Black
3.2.2.2 For PVC insulated cables with rated voltage 450/750V and below (Executive Standard: GB / T 5023), the insulated core colors and arrangement of the order shall meet the following requirements
Single core and two-cores cable: No preferred chromatographic but should avoid Red, White, Yellow, or Green
Three-cores cable: Yellow/Green, Blue, Brown, or Brown, Black, Grey
Four-cores cable: Yellow/Green, Brown, Black, Grey or Blue, Brown, Black, and Grey
Five-cores cable: Yellow/Green, Blue, Brown, Black, Grey or Blue, Brown, Black, Grey, and Black
3.2.2.3 For PVC insulated cables and wires, flexible wires with rated voltage 450/750V and below (Executive Standard: JB 8734), the insulated core colors and arrangement of the order shall meet the following requirements
Single core and two-cores cable: No preferred chromatographic but should avoid Red, White, Yellow, or Green
Three-cores cable: Yellow/Green, Light Blue, Brown, or Light Blue, Black, Brown
Four-cores cable: Yellow/Green, Light Green, Black, Brown or Light Blue, Black, Brown, Black or Brown
Five-cores cable: Yellow/Green, Blue, Black, Brown, Black or Brown; or Light Blue, Black, Brown, Black or Brown, Black or Brown
The cabling pitch should in comply with the requirements of the technical documents.
The cable should be round in appearance and the difference between Max. Dia. and Min. Dia. on same sectional not more than 10% of the average Dia..
The Filling material should in comply with the requirements of the technical documents.
